Dancey Cake

This golf themed cupcake makes me wish the snow will melt already.  I am ready to see some green! But for now this is the only green out there.  I hope this will bring some joy to the celebrant as they wait for golf season.  Double Chocolate Chiffon Cupcake with vanilla buttercream grass. Ohh yes did I mention its spring right now.....  Believe or not its "Spring Break" ... Back to the cupcakes... Filled with dark chocolate buttercream using cupcake filling tip.  Applied a thin layer of dark chocolate buttercream.  Pipe out grass. Gumpaste flag

Made this for Sierra's birthday.  Its a bunch of cupcake decorated as one entity.  Keep them in place by spreading a bit of buttercream at the bottom of the cupcake.  Position the cupcakes.  Once you are settled on a shape apply the buttercream at the bottom of the cupcake.  Using a star tip pipe icing onto the individual cupcakes.  Spread the icing with an offset spatula.  Make sure all the nooks and crannies are covered up to achieve a uniform flat surface.
